I recently changed my cosmetics after wearing the same brand since high school. Wow! I have been having more allergies lately and I thought I would change my makeup to see if that would make a difference. What I found was very interesting.
First off, my makeup did not cause my allergies. So I will continue to work on that. However, when I changed to an all-natural approach I found my skin to be more moisturized and younger looking. I have no wrinkles yet, which is good for someone "over the hill."

Here is my morning routine...
I have stopped using soap. Soap seems to be harsh to the face so I now wash with water first. Then I use apple cider vinegar as a rinse. Be careful with the eyes. Apple cider vinegar has so many benefits that include help with acne, age spots and sunburn. I then rinse with water. As a side note, apple cider vinegar is great when used as a deodorant as well. My next step is to use castor oil. The benefits of castor oil are numerous, but what I like is that it moisturizes my skin naturally. It lengthens my lashes as well. Next I put my eyeliner on. To be honest, I did try the natural eye liner, but I do not use it since it runs after an hour or so. If anyone knows of a good natural eye liner, let me know. I then put on eye concealer from 100% Pure as well as my fruit pigmented tinted moisturizer which really looks like a light foundation. I love their fruit pigmented cheek tint also that I also use on my lips after I've applied my vitamin E lip care.

I also ordered from Vapour Beauty the sample kit which includes 5 samples for $15 and each sample contains 1 to 2 uses. I really like their products and their quality, especially the Vapour Luminous Foundation. I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future.
I feel that if you don't take care of your skin at an early age, it will look like leather or mega-wrinkly by middle age. I also believe that whatever you put on your skin, will be absorbed into your body and eventually into your bloodstream. My recent all-natural approach to everything is not an option anymore. It's all about health for me now.
One last item that I really like is Naturtint, it's an all natural hair color. It covers great, there is no ammonia, resorcinal or paragen and it is certified organic with all natural ingredients. I think Vitacost might have the best price around. I originally went to a health food store to look at the charts to match the right hair color. Since then I have just been buying it direct. It is around $11 on Vitacost.
